I guested on another podcast a few days ago, and the host printed a poetic essay on spiritual dynamite that some think is missing from modern Christianity. This metaphor reminds me of what the best indie and alternative media does: provide a perspective and a set of priorities that isn’t corrupted by government and cronyism.
If your alt/indie media — or your Christianity — isn’t undermining coercive civil authority, then it isn’t as “alt,” “indie,” or “Christian” in its character as it pretends to be.
