In his homily yesterday, Fr. Chip spoke about how Mary changed in our outlook on the ministry of Jesus. He connected back to her reaction of finding Jesus at the temple to how she reacted to this situation that fundamentally begins his public ministry.
This journey of mine that started back with the government lockdowns has been all about embracing truth and life. Those are some good points you make their in your homily about being willing to encounter God. So, many times we aren't willing because that encounter is going to change us.
Thanks, Ed! That's a good insight about Mary being on a journey of growth and change, too. Mary is a human, after all. If Mary, who is sinless, still has to grow, then it may give comfort to the rest of us :-)
"Well organized and doesn't go on too long" were targets from the very beginning. A half an hour of the same person talking seemed like a good place to stop 😅
