I am 80 years old and chose not to apply for Social Security "benefits" as I neither wanted to be dependent on a so called "government" that I don't trust and a system that is an unethical ponzi scheme not based on consent. I don't care to be tracked by the "number" our defacto inventory number.
I'm with ya! I've been without full-time work for periods in my adult life (including now) but never applied for food stamps, housing assistance, unemployment payments, etc. I don't want to be "in the system" in that way. I don't want to perpetuate the government-handout culture.
I generally dislike podcast-type presentations, preferring to read a transcript if available; but I remembered that I might be able to listen at high speed, which I did. Not quite as good as a transcript, but you have screen shots that perform part of that function. One of the items related to civil rights law: for those who are not prepared to abandon the structure entirely, a reconsideration of "disparate impact" as presumptive evidence of discrimination may be a good place to start. You have probably spoken about it before, and may again, but since this is my first listen I thought it might be worth mentioning.
There is a transcript available, but it's auto-generated from voice-to-text, so expect a few amusing inaccuracies as the AI tries to turn my speaking into writing. Is the "Transcript" button visible to you, next to the "Share" button directly below the byline on the right side of the post?
Thanks! Racism in government is a hypersensitive subject. But being an anarchist, almost every position I have is hypersensitive to many people. I'm used to it 😅

Welcome to the pod, Jackson!
I listen at higher speeds, too ... usually 1.5x.

Oh! I never noticed that! Thank you very much. I will be trying that in the future.
Great job handling a difficult topic here, Dom! Keep up the great work!
